This is a series of small paintings reflecting my first experience with sexual violence, in kindergarten in 2005. Kindergarten was also when I first truly picked up making art, so I chose to return to materials I used most often during those school days to create these works of my personal confliction, both of the trauma of what I experienced and did not quite understand, as well as pure, carefree childhood joy.
