sugar rush is a piece dedicated to my partner, who helped propel me into my journey of recovery. i adore the feeling of goodness that his presence brings me, he is my peace. i used materials drawn from my childhood and chose to emulate cake frosting with beads as sprinkles for the literal sweetness that his love brings.
